Luftgekuhlt in German is “air-cooled”, a unique show of Porsche cars, both racing and street versions, produced until 1997 - then everything changed - the era of air-cooled engines ended.
Fortunately, exactly 10 years ago in Los Angeles - Patrick Long - came up with a awesome idea - winner among others 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2004 and 2007 (both times driving a Porsche 911), currently a factory racing driver for Porsche in the USA and privately a car brand enthusiast from Zuffenhausen, who among others with Jeff Zwart - former racing driver, film director, a photographer and privately also a fan and collector of various Porsche models, created an event, that they could not find for years, i.e. @luftgekuhlt
This is a unique event during which the rarest and most significant Porsche models are also presented, but all with exclusively with air-cooled engines.
This year, Luftgekuhlt came for the first time to Wroclaw, Poland. And in a very original place, which is one of the oldest railway stations in Wrocław - Świebodzki Station - currently abandoned and transformed into a social space, you could admire for example, Porsche models such as:
- 935 k3 Turbo, 911 SC Safari (only 3 such models were built + 1 training car), 962, 959 (Komfort Version), 904 Carrera GTS, 917/10 with 1000 HP!
